Talib Ahmed Bensouda

Kanifing Municipal Council

Talib Ahmed Bensouda leads the Unite Movement for Change with a record built on practical, people-first governance. He brings more than a decade of public service to the table — from local administration to a nationally recognised platform on jobs, housing and youth opportunity.

His mandate at UMC is straightforward: rebuild trust in public institutions, restore dignity to public office, and put the next generation of Gambians at the centre of every decision the party takes.

A husband, father, and proud Gambian, he believes the work of leadership is the work of listening — to the elder in Basse, the trader in Serrekunda, the farmer in Niamina, the student in Brikama.
